A $1-million jackpot may not buy your dream house anymore, but it sure helps with the mortgage.

North Vancouver couple Jace and Roshina De Ath recently pocketed $1 million after matching all seven numbers in the Lotto Max Maxmillions draw held in October.

The pair plan to pay off the mortgage on a Whistler property and invest some prize money, according to a release from the B.C. Lottery Corporation.

While unlikely to quit their jobs, the couple may take a little time off. “We will consider trying to slow down our work schedules,” Roshina stated in the release.

The couple added they’d continue to buy lottery tickets.
