Each participant will stay in-residence for four weeks at one of 12 host universities across the country and participate in lectures, workshops, projects and activities focused on STEM.

According to a press release, SHAD is a competitive, application-based process and those students selected have top marks, a strong community focus and come from diverse backgrounds.
