Photos: Metro Vancouver mansion selling for $38.8 million includes hidden private casino

"A place where a modern-day prince might live."

One of the most expensive homes on the real estate market in Metro Vancouver has a bevy of amenities, including one unusual one.

The recently completed house at 1121 Crestline Rd. in West Vancouver features a "private casino hidden behind mirrored doors," according to the listing.

That's in addition to the six-car garage with a swimming pool on top  (lit by LED lights), twin marble stairway, heated driveway, handmade leaded glass dome, a foyer with 38-foot high ceilings, and an elevator.

There's also a private bar, an onyx-clad wine cellar, a dance area with a light-up dance floor (more LED lights), and a sauna. And a private office styled by Italian luxury brand Stefano Ricci.

While the property doesn't have much of a yard to spend time in, there is a tennis court, too.

The listing notes a few other features, as well, including a microwave and central vacuum.

A video made for the new home describes it as "not merely a mansion but a dream carved into stone" and "as a place where a modern-day prince might live."

To that end, it also has tons of marble, several chandeliers, Ionic-style columns inside, and plenty of Louis Vuiton furniture and cushions. There are also 16 TVs in the house, with some of them hidden behind wall panels or dropping down from the ceiling.

"From room to room, stone replaces drywall. Marble, onyx, travertine. Walls become works of art. Floors, a story of discipline and devotion," narrates the video.

On top of all the luxury are the views, which stretch from Stanley Park down the Burrard Inlet.

According to REW, the property last sold in 2013 for $2.5 million.
