New COVID-19 infections in Burnaby still aren't decreasing.

According to the latest Geographic Distribution of COVID-19 by Local Health Area of Case Residence, Burnaby saw 160 infections from Oct. 3 to 9, 2021.

The data is released by the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC).

During the last reporting period from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, Burnaby saw 9 fewer cases tallied (151).

As hospital admissions continue to swing upwards, unvaccinated people continue to be largely responsible for much of the spread.
