Jess Balzer

Jess Balzer graduated from BCIT's Broadcast and Online Journalism program in 2016. She then started her journalism career in Fort St. John, followed by Victoria. In 2018, she moved to Prince George where she was a digital reporter for PrinceGeorgeMatters from 2018 to 2021. When the publication merged with the Prince George Citizen, Jess moved back home to the Lower Mainland and is now with Burnaby Now. Her husband, Kyle, works for our sister publication at the Tri-City News.
