Charges have been filed in the case of the West Vancouver man who was stabbed at the Pemberton Music Festival Monday.

Eustace Victor Martin, 23, faces one charge of aggravated assault in connection with the stabbing that sent a West Vancouver man to hospital in serious condition.

The gathering of music fans was otherwise a peaceful affair, according to Sgt. Rob Knapton, media relations officer with the Pemberton RCMP.

Martin is due in Pemberton Provincial Court Aug. 23.
