As Pope Benedict XVI starts to rest his very large and ornamented hat on the new pope, Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the 265th successor to St. Peter decided to go in a new direction and choose a name never used before: "Francis," a name strongly associated with St. Francis of Assisi, a man of simplicity and humility.
