North Vancouvers most popular and exhausting mountain trail will be shut temporarily tomorrow to allow maintenance crews to fix it up.
Metro Vancouver, which oversees the Grouse Grind, announced last week it would be closing the grueling outdoor stair climb to remove rock and undertake other repairs.
The trail, which was built originally by hikers, lies on a steep debris fan and requires frequent maintenance to ensure its safety. It is expected to reopen Friday.
