The Alpine Garden Club Spring Show and Sale will take place Saturday, April 7, 14 p.m. at VanDusen Botanical Garden, 5251 Oak St., Vancouver. The show will be in the Cedar Room with the sale in the Floral Hall. The show - though primarily floral - will include many categories including foliage plants, native and exotic plants, and critiqued examples of bonsai. The sale includes not only alpine and rock garden specialties, but woodland plants, rhododendrons, trees and shrubs, and unique perennials and ground covers. Free. Info: www.vandusengarden.org.
