Give your feedback on West Vancouver's proposed 2020 budget

Nature may be priceless, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still attach a dollar sign to it.

The District of West Vancouver is incorporating natural asset maintenance, as well as climate action emergency response, into its 2020 budget, along with other capital works and operating costs considered critical to providing local services.

West Vancouver residents are invited to attend an information session on the proposed 2020 budget in order to share their feedback.

The three information meetings are scheduled for:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 28 from 3 to 5 p.m. at West Vancouver Seniors’ Activity Centre, 695 21st St.

  • Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at West Vancouver Memorial Library, 1950 Marine Dr.

  • Thursday, Jan. 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at West Vancouver Community Centre, 2121 Marine Dr.

Attendees to one of the three meetings can learn more about proposed changes to property taxes, find out how their property assessment impacts their payment, and share feedback on the proposed 2020 budget.

For those that can’t attend a meeting, online feedback is being accepted here until Feb. 2 at 4 p.m.
