A driver suffered minor injuries Monday morning after driving over an embankment in West Vancouver.
Police were called around 8 a.m. to the 6200-block St. Georges Place, in the Gleneagles neighbourhood, after a vehicle collided with the top of a storage shed.
The rental vehicle had gone over the side of the road and down a short, steep embankment.
According to police, the crash appears to have been caused by driver error the drivers foot slipped off the brake on to the gas pedal. The driver, a 45-year-old woman from the United Kingdom, suffered cuts to her face.
West Vancouver Fire Department and B.C. Ambulance Service also attended.
