THE District of North Vancouver is considering a property tax increase of 2.22 per cent in its budget deliberations.
An April 20 story stated the increase could be as high as 3.5 per cent. That is incorrect.
The two per cent tax increase is divided equally between municipal services and the maintenance of capital infrastructure.
Council will consider the proposed tax rate bylaw at a May 7 council meeting.
We regret the error.
