NORTH Vancouver RCMP officers have dismantled a grow-op with 300 plants that was housed in the garage of a quiet suburban neighbourhood.

Police were called out to a domestic dispute at a home in the 600-block of East 21st Street around 2 a.m. on May 25.

Clued in by that visit, officers obtained a search warrant and seized more than 300 marijuana plants from a detached garage.

Police are now conducting an investigation. So far, nobody has been charged.

Corp. Richard De Jong of the North Vancouver detachment said it appears neighbours weren't aware of the operation.
