Candy Buy Back: Dr. Pocock's orthodontist office will launch their annual program Tuesday, Nov. 1. Bring in your Halloween candy and they will give you $1 per pound. You can choose to keep the money or donate it to the Children's Hospital. Every dollar donated will be matched by Dr. Pocock and the candy will be donated to the food bank. Green Screen: An international film festival hosted by the Coho Society of the North Shore will be launched Nov. 1, 2, 3 and 5 at the Kay Meek Centre, 1700 Mathers Ave., West Vancouver. The festival will feature 55 films highlighting nature and environmental activism. There will be a reception and awards presentations prior to the screenings on opening night.
