A North Vancouver homeowner had a close call Tuesday when a vehicle burst into flame on his property and set fire to his house.
Firefighters were called to the home in the 1500-block of Frederick Road just before 11 a.m. after repairs to the car apparently went wrong, causing it to catch light. Crews arrived to find the vehicle engulfed and flames spreading to the eaves of the house nearby.
Firefighters quickly doused the blaze. Its not clear yet what caused it.
