The efforts of palliative and supportive care volunteers were celebrated at a volunteer appreciation event at Lions Gate Hospital April 16. Hosted by Janet Quenneville, volunteer program manager, Family Services of the North Shore, the event also featured a presentation by Barbara Morningstar, program director of the Surrey Hospice.
