ARE you a backyard bird watcher?
If so, consider taking part in Project FeederWatch, on from Saturday, Nov. 12 to Friday, April 6.
Through the project, North Americans are invited to count the number and types of birds in their yards every couple of weeks, and submit the information to www.birdscanada.org/ volunteer/pfw.
The data helps scientists better understand the health and behaviour of birds as well as how to protect them.
Project FeederWatch will also provide a poster of common birds to help you determine which ones are in your yard.
