Another riot charge laid

Crown prosecutors have approved charges against one more alleged hockey rioter from North Vancouver. On Wednesday, a 17-year-old North Vancouver teen was charged with participating in a riot and mischief over $5,000.

On Wednesday, a 17-year-old North Vancouver teen was charged with participating in a riot and mischief over $5,000.

Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the teen cannot be named.

Three people from North Vancouver - including two adults, Matthew Cottrell and Jacob Pateman - have now been charged in connection to the riot that broke out last June after the Canucks' loss in the Stanley Cup final.

Prosecutors have recommended charges against another two people from North Vancouver. Those charges have not yet been approved.
