The Who
Vancity Theatre screens James D. Cooper’s new documentary Lambert & Stamp on Sept. 21 at 8:40 p.m. as part of their Music Mondays series. Chris Stamp and Kit Lambert were the creative Svengalis that managed The Who in London during the ’60s. Village Voice critic Alan Scherstuhl says the film “Illuminates the glory and tumult of the band’s rise with unexpected candor — it’s the rare truthful and beautiful film about the rock ’n’ roll life.” For more information visit viff.org.
