R&B legend Barbara Lynn is making a rare live appearance in the Pacific Northwest on Saturday, Aug. 15 as the headliner of Light in the Attic’s Summer Spectacular in Seattle. The second annual free event is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. at LITA’s record store/warehouse at 913 NW 50th Street, Seattle. The summer street party will also feature Vancouver DJ Kevin ‘Sipreano’ Howes, the mastermind behind the new compilation Native North America Vol. 1, who will be spinning records between sets.
