Icelandic musician Björk Guðmundsdóttir has described her latest album, Vulnicura, as an “accurate emotional chronology” of her breakup with artist Matthew Barney. The new music was leaked online last week two months ahead of its intended release date which was to coincide with a new retrospective exhibit of her work at New York City’s MoMA and the publication of Björk: Archives.
