THE Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association, in partnership with The Village at Park Royal and West Vancouver's Whole Foods Market, will put on display a number of electric cars during a two-day environmental sustainability showcase April 6-7 in The Village.
The showcase will offer plenty of electrifying info on this fast-growing car segment to satisfy serious gearheads and curious beginners alike.
"We are excited to have the opportunity to present to the community a range of electric cars and to raise awareness of their environmental and financial benefits," said VEVA member David Carley in a release.
VEVA's electric car showcase takes place April 6-7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in The Village at Park Royal, on the southeast side of Whole Foods Market. Admission is free.
VEVA is a non-profit society formed by a number of British Columbia electric vehicle enthusiasts in 1988. The association advocates the use of electric motors as the primary motive power source for all forms of human transportation from trains, trucks, buses, cars and even bicycles and skateboards for a clean, green and sustainable future.
