THE North Vancouver Community Arts Council is asking all artists to submit up to three pieces of two-dimensional art for its inaugural pop-up gallery at Capilano Mall from May 1 to 16.

Artists interested in showcasing their work will have to be approved by the council before display. Art will be juried on Sunday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m.

If chosen, the art will be displayed in May with 100 per cent of the sales going to the artist.

Artists must be prepared to submit a statement for each piece as well as a biography, and they must be members of the community arts council by April 7. Each submitted piece of artwork should be properly framed and wired for it to be considered.

Accepted artists must also commit to three shifts of three hours each to staff the display during the 15-day event.

To drop off your work go to 335 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver between 1011 a.m. and pickup afterwards between noon and 12: 30 p.m.
