STUDENTS from two North Shore high schools were among business students from across the province who took top spots in the Junior Achievement of British Columbia's 15th annual B.C. Business Challenge held in downtown Vancouver Jan. 14.

Sara Morison is one of four artists exhibiting in Abstract Narrative at the Ferry Building Gallery, 1414 Argyle Ave., West Vancouver, from Jan. 22 to Feb. 20. The other artists are Monica Gerwurz, Michael Jeffery and Shakun Jhangiani.

THE Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society recently received the 2012 Family Services grant from the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, Inc. in support of its new Play Centre located in East Vancouver. They are honored to be the only B.C.

WENDY Potts-Wong, from the North Shore Community Corrections Office, is receiving a Corrections Exemplary Service Medal for 20 years of outstanding service. According to a press release, Potts-Wong (retired) was among 33 exceptional B.C.
