UBC Law Students' Legal Advice Program: Low income individuals can seek free legal advice at clinics at the North Shore Neighbourhood House, 225 East Second St., North Vancouver. It will be open Tuesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m.

Six-year-old Illianna Baker prepares for the annual Squamish Nation Powwow July 6-8 on Xwemelchstn (the Capilano 5 Reserve). The event is expected to draw First Nations dancers, drummers, performers and artists from around North America. Entry is $5.
