The Trousdell family lost their loving husband and father last week, while the North Shore will now be without a one-of-a-kind teacher, great Lynn Valley neighbour and avid beekeeper.

Tannis Turner, pictured here with one of her mixed-media paintings, will be showing her work along with artists Eva Francis and Tony Kristopaitis at the Nature Re-imagined exhibit at the Ferry Building Gallery from Jan. 27 to Feb. 15.

Isaac and Chloe Scott are looking forward to Family Literacy Day on Tuesday, Jan. 27. The North Vancouver City Library children’s department will celebrate the annual awareness initiative with family-friendly activities throughout the day from 9 a.m.

Sarah Canning, Farah Yekanifard, Simon Russell and Samira Rahmani will be facilitating a number of North Shore Multicultural Society youth programs in the coming weeks.
