Jamie Walker, Maria Nguyen and Christian Villemaire of Urban Barn in Park Royal Village display one of the hundreds of new fleece blankets the home decor retailer delivered to Covenant House and the Bloom Group earlier this month. The store invited customers to contribute to its fourth annual Blanket the Country in Warmth campaign from Nov. 12 to Dec. 6. For every $5 in-store donation, Urban Barn delivered a blanket to a local shelter. Across Canada, 13,000 blankets were donated to 30 shelters.
