MONOVA: Archives of North Vancouver is excited to participate in the worldwide amateur film event, Home Movie Day 2021. This year, we’d love to see your old home movies.

Last year, we curated a selection of old home movie excerpts that are preserved at the Archives of North Vancouver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrBldIO1JTo. For Home Movie Day 2021 (virtual edition), MONOVA: Archives of North Vancouver will be screening a curated program of archival home movies from our collection and we want to include excerpts selected from your digitized submissions.

All you need to do is send us a copy of your already digitized home movie. Make sure it was filmed in North Vancouver, as we want to show the world that #NorthVanStories live here.

Hurry, because the deadline to submit your North Vancouver home movies is 5 p.m., Sept. 20, 2021. MONOVA’s Home Movie Day event will be held in October (date TBD). If you have any questions or for more information please contact the Archives team at archives@monova.ca or 604-990-3700 ext. 8012.
