Joe McGuinness, Sheralie Broadbent and 10-year-old Laird Broadbent encourage residents to contribute to the seventh annual B.C. Thanksgiving Food Drive, which runs Sept. 14 to 19 in partnership with the Harvest Project.
Volunteers will distribute bags to various neighbourhoods across the North Shore next week. Anyone wishing to donate non-perishable food items is asked to place the items in the bag and leave it on their doorstep before 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 for collection.
Those who do not receive a bag can drop off non-perishable food at the North Shore collection station, 941 Lynn Valley Rd., North Vancouver. bctfooddrive.org
