Saige Woolley, a recent graduate of Capilano University's musical theatre program, rehearses with the members of the musical theatre class she teaches at North Shore Connexions Society’s The Summit, a community based program that provides recreation, social and educational options for people with developmental disabilities. The group (comprised of Lindsey Pearson, David Shoring, Mary McLaughlin, Mary Ann Saunders, Jody Hausmann, Mark Stevens and Danielle Juillfs) has been working on a few numbers from different musicals, including Hairspray, The Little Mermaid, Frozen and Aladdin, and is inviting community members to watch them perform Saturday, June 20 at North Vancouver’s Anne MacDonald Studio in North Vancouver at 8 p.m. Entry is by donation, and proceeds will help fund future performances.
