Bill Reid, Penny Bird, Lily Foster and Sue Turner of Queen Mary community elementary display old photographs chronicling the history of the school, which opened its doors in 1915. A 100th anniversary celebration will take place Friday, May 22 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 230 West Keith Rd., North Vancouver. The event will feature music, games, food, memorabilia and more.
