Public art unveiled at North Vancouver development

Coast Salish artist Jody Broomfield stands with his sculpture The Spirit of the Sacred Mountain, located near the entrance to The Shore condominium complex in North Vancouver. Broomfield’s piece is one of several public art installations at the development. A ceremony to celebrate the artworks, as well as the opening of a new section of the Trans Canada Trail linking Marine Drive and Second Street was held on Sept. 16.
