West Vancouver Youth Services and the Whatever Youth Committee is inviting teens to its first ever nighttime swim for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies.

The Whatever Pool Party is a free, all-bodies after-hours swim for LGBTQ+ teens (ages 13-18 years old) at the West Vancouver Aquatic Centre this Thursday, March 23.

Registration will begin at 10:30 p.m. and the swim is on from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Photo ID is required for entry and will be checked by a trusted ally.

The Aquatic Centre features a water slide, lazy river, inflatable aquatic obstacle course, and a hot tub so every BODY can have fun and get active in the pool or hang out on the deck and enjoy music and snacks.

Swim dress code: wear what works for you, but swim clothes must be clean and fresh, not the ones you wear to the event, and no denim or shoes are allowed in the pool. The centre offers many inclusive features including water wheelchairs and accessible, gender-neutral change rooms and washrooms.

Parents, guardians, youth workers and other adult allies are welcome and will have access to a comfortable waiting area and refreshments.

The West Vancouver Aquatic Centre is located at 2121 Marine Dr., West Vancouver.
