Pat Crawford, Dave Wellman and Sharon Vaage of the Mountainside Pickleball Association are seeking new members to play the popular racquet sport, which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. The group plays at Parkgate Community Centre, John Braithwaite Community Centre and West Vancouver Community Centre both during the day and evenings. New players are invited to attend a workshop on Sept. 15 from 6 to 7 p.m. or Sept. 17 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Parkgate Community Centre, 3625 Banff Court, North Vancouver.
