Mt. Seymour hosted its First Snow day event welcoming 350 new Canadians to the North Shore mountains Sunday.
More than 100 volunteers helped lead first-timers on skis and snowshoes. Local businesses donated boots, coats mittens and toques and the group were treated to a free barbecue lunch.
