Volunteer: West Vancouver Seniors' Activity Centre is looking for a volunteer to help in the cafeteria to make sandwiches. Various shifts are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. A minimum four month commitment is required. Training and orientation is provided.

Gym volunteer: This is a great opportunity for volunteers to gain work experience in a sports environment while working with children and adults. Volunteers must be 16 years old. The volunteer will be responsible for setting up equipment, interacting and playing with participants, cleaning up after the program and ensuring all equipment is returned to storage.

Fundraisers: Volunteers are needed to assist in raising funds and cultivating member relationships through events and initiatives whose ultimate goal is to support B.C. families affected by serious mental illness. Volunteers will be working with staff on the planning of social events, including solicitation of gift-in-kind donations, and will be responsible for helping to implement recognition programs for members and other volunteers.

Mahon Park steward: A volunteer is needed to work in North Vancouver's Mahon Park to remove weeds and invasive plants, plant native plants and map plants in the park. The volunteer will also work in the native demonstration garden in the park.

Computer trainer: North Shore Women's Centre is looking for a volunteer to teach basic computer skills. The volunteer will work one-on-one with clients interested in learning basic computer and Internet skills, one hour per week.
