Leisure Companion: Volunteer needed to assist two adults with disabilities for approximately two to three hours a week. The volunteer would act as a leisure companion to accompany the individuals to scheduled sporting events once a week and will ensure the safety of the participants while travelling to and from venues, and while engaging in activities.

Garden Project Volunteers: North Shore Neighbourhood House is looking for volunteers to help with the garden project to prune, make compost, plant seedlings, mulch and much more. No gardening experience required. Volunteer must have an ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Child Minders Volunteers: Parent Support Services Society is looking for individuals to deliver a quality child minding/play group program for children from birth to five years and older. The child minders will work within the child minding team.

Friendly Walker: This volunteer position will assist some of our more frail seniors to go out on local walks for approximately 30 minutes. Some residents, although very independent, feel more confident walking to do errands with a support person. This would be within the neighbourhood of Lonsdale and 15th Street.

Volunteer: Volunteer will work with other women to address the systemic barriers that prevent women from accessing quality, comprehensive health care. Volunteers at the Vancouver Women's Health Collective will provide information and support for women who access the VHWC's resources either in person or over the phone. This includes helping women seek out appropriate community resources, use the VWHC's practitioner directory and use the VWHC's library.
