Gallery shop volunteer: Volunteers are needed to greet visitors to the Seymour Art Gallery and ring through customers in the gallery shop, which shows fine arts and crafts by local artists. This non-profit community gallery is located in the heart of Deep Cove.

One-on-one visitor: Volunteers are needed to provide seniors with companionship and consistency in their lives through regular weekly visits in their homes. This is achieved by going for walks or sharing in other activities and helping them with access to the community.

Day camp volunteers: Volunteers who are enthusiastic, creative and have a desire to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment working with children are encouraged to volunteer this summer. Volunteers will help organize, plan and provide fun, quality children's programs such as theme days, canoeing, horseback riding and swimming, as well as many arts and crafts.

Summer nature program assistant: The nature program assistant helps the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre summer nature educators with programs for children ages five to 12. This is a good introduction to working with children. The assistant helps children make crafts, play games and explore the outdoors.

Event volunteer: Musart Cultural Society is looking for volunteers to help set up, clean up and take down stage equipment. The volunteers must be able to help direct traffic and assist with any other duties required at the event.
