Dakeryn Industries, a North Vancouver lumber wholesale company, held a successful Movember fundraising campaign, raising more than $12,000 for Prostate Cancer Canada. The company opted to participate in the fundraiser, which raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer, as many in their industry have experienced prostate cancer firsthand or been impacted in some way. The initiative was headed up by 10 sales representatives. The company pledged to donate $5 from every truckload order of lumber in November. They also were grateful for generous donations from customers, and friends and family.
