North Vancouver’s 175-member choir Burstin’ with Broadway has been invited to sing at Carnegie Hall in March 2020.
The SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) performance group will feature 101 singers in the New York City concert.
Burstin’ with Broadway will perform at the Museum of Vancouver on Thursday, July 25, as part of the Pay What You Can Concert Series 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.
The group sings music from the musical theatre repertoire and rehearses on Tuesday nights. They currently have a waiting list of 60 women. They begin registration for next season in May 2020.
