District of North Vancouver Mayor Richard Walton presents $500 bursaries to North Vancouver residents Sophie Mariano and Dylan Martus at a December ceremony at the municipal hall. The awards were given to the UBC students in recognition of their volunteer work with the Challenger Baseball program, which gives children with cognitive or physical disabilities the chance to play baseball.
