Twinkling lights adorning houses is just one of the favourite ways North Shore residents get into the Christmas spirit. Every year, we invite readers to share their favourite holiday lights displays. This year, we photographed a selection and pinned the addresses on a map for easy viewing. Pour a thermos of hot cocoa, load the kids into the car and take an evening tour.
If you spot a spectacular display and don't see it listed here, you can pin the address yourself to share with our readers. Here's how: Select full screen mode from icon on top right of map. Enter address in search bar. A green pin appears on map. Click on pin and select "add to map." Once added, pin will appear on menu on right-hand side of map. Hover over address, and on right side is an icon. Click on icon to edit pin. Select "edit" (pencil icon) at bottom of dialogue box. Copy and paste the url of your photo in image upload field (note: you will need to have published our photo online, ie. any social media accounts). Enter a caption explaining your lights (not mandatory). Click "save." You're done.
