Uh oh North Shore, there’s a new tourism ad campaign out there that might spill all our secrets to the rest of the world.
This week Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Association unveiled a new “destination brand logo and identity” aimed at highlighting our unique assets to potential visitors to the North Shore. The new campaign labels the region as “Vancouver’s North Shore,” – a distinction likely meant to differentiate us from other prominent global North Shores such as those found in Oahu and Boston – and introduces the new tagline “Nowhere Better Natured.”
What really catches the eye though is an accompanying video, posted below, that hits many of the North Shore’s sweetest spots, ranging from the ski hills to the beach, with many adventures and some excellent craft breweries in between.
There’s a new website as well where you can check out the new North Shore logos for yourself. Luckily none of the super secret lakes or trails are named or mapped, so maybe we can keep our truly cool off-the-beaten-path spots free from excess tromping while still welcoming new friends and faces to our unique home. After all, there is “Nowhere Better Natured,” unless, of course, someone makes too much of a mess in our awesome backyard. Then we feed them to the bears.
Welcome everyone!
