Seven-year-old Sofia Galati puts the finishing touches on her Mason jar lantern at a free workshop Nov. 22 at Karen Magnussen Arena. Workshop participants will take part in a Lantern Parade on Tuesday, Dec. 1, which departs the arena for Mollie Nye House at 6:50 p.m. From 7 to 8:30 p.m., Lynn Valley Services Society presents its annual Bright Christmas event at Mollie Nye House featuring festive and family-friendly activities.
