Firefighter Craig Dickie and his daughters Kate and Claire start decorating for the fifth annual Holiday Hi-Light Festival at Park & Tilford Gardens, 333 Brooksbank Ave., North Vancouver. The opening night light-up celebration is Friday, Nov. 27, 7-10 p.m. and the display is open nightly until Dec. 31. Entry is by donation with proceeds to the District of North Vancouver Firefighters Charitable Society. Family Friday nights: Dec. 4, 11 and 18, 5-9 p.m.
