Georgia Lewis, 6, perches atop a giant pumpkin in Glenn and Andrea Dixon’s North Vancouver pumpkin patch. The massive gourd, estimated to weigh 1,000 pounds, will be entered in the annual Aldor Acres Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off this Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Langley family farm. At last year's event, the heaviest pumpkin tipped the scale at 1,044 lbs.
