Cross Walk: A series of short worship services followed by coffee and goodies will take place during Holy Week in West Vancouver. Schedule: April 4, 9: 30 a.m., West Vancouver Presbyterian Church, 2893 Marine Dr. and April 5, 9: 30 a.m., St. Francis-in-the-Wood Anglican Church, 4774 South Picadilly Way.

Drop-in Book Club: The club will meet Wednesdays, every six weeks through June from 7 to 8: 30 p.m. at the North Vancouver City Library, 120 West 14th St. Books will be distributed at the end of each meeting for the following month's discussion. Community Dignity Day: Free community services will be available Thursday, April 5, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 105 West 12th St., North Vancouver. A complimentary breakfast will take place from 8 to 9 a.m. with a hot lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. There will be free hair cuts, flu shots, information seminars, income tax preparation and much more. Resolve to be Healthy: Connect Fitness will host a fundraising party Thursday, April 5, 7: 30 p.m. at Milestones Bar and Grill in Park Royal Village, West Vancouver. The party is meant to encourage women to celebrate healthy living and provide a nutritious meal for those that cannot provide one for themselves. There will be a raffle draw with all proceeds going towards providing a healthy meal to residents of the Dodson House on the Downtown Eastside.

Southern Straits Classic: The West Vancouver Yacht Club will celebrate this 44th annual yachting regatta by hosting community activities Friday, April 6, 9 a.m. at the Dundarave Pier start line at 25th Street and Bellevue Avenue, West Vancouver. There will be a pancake breakfast by donation with the funds benefiting the Lions Society followed by music and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Team Finn Family Ride Day: Escape Adventures will host the inaugural event Saturday, April 7 at the Seymour Demonstration Forest gazebo in North Vancouver. All riders welcome. Rides are 90 minutes. Your Child's Sexual World is Bigger Than You Think: A parenting series with a presentation on "How to Talk to Your Kids About Sexuality" Friday, April 13 and on Friday, May 25 the topic will be "Love, Sex and Good Relationships."
