This year's theme focuses on how the speed of changes in technology, expectations and demographics is frustrating, challenging, exciting, and resource-consuming.

Nine industry leaders and innovators will address the question of how small and medium-sized business owners are embracing change and seizing opportunities, and how those actions will impact success in the future. Their talks will be framed with TED Talks, live music, art and networking. Two contest winners from the university's student/alumni body and the BOSS Selfemployment Entrepreneurship Program will also be speaking and 384 movers and shakers from around Vancouver will be in attendance.

The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 5 at Capilano University, 2055 Purcell Way, North Vancouver. Check-in and networking is 9-10 a.m., followed by the formalities 10 a.m.-4: 45 p.m. and après, 4: 45-6 p.m.
