Squamish Nation artist Sinámkin (Jody Broomfield) glances over the new carved cedar artwork he created with students for the entrance to Norgate Community Elementary. A blessing ceremony took place on Wednesday for the school art installation, which tells the story of the blueberry fields that used to exist where the school now stands, and the connection to Squamish history.
