If you’re in the market for a show about a cop, a mob boss and a young woman who saw more than she bargained for, Deep Cove Stage Society has the play for you. Bear Witness is showing at Deep Cove Shaw Theatre tonight and tomorrow at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. The production is running until Nov. 2.  Tickets: $20-22

Each fall, coho salmon complete their epic journey to return to their birthplace. Tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., get up close with wild salmon during a free event near Capilano Fish Hatchery put on by Metro Vancouver Regional Parks.

Featuring an international cross-section of acclaimed 20th century artists, the Without A Word exhibition at the Polygon Gallery includes some of modern photography’s most iconic and memorable portraits, with a specific focus on people caught in unguarded moments of contemplation and preoccupation. It’s on now until Nov. 3.

The Vancouver Chamber Music Society is presenting a concert with cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière and pianist Jonas Vitaud at West Vancouver United Church tonight at 7:30 p.m. The program includes the works of Beethoven, Poulenc, Janacek and Rachmanninov. Tickets: $35
